Coaching gives you space to explore that deeper layer – without judgement, and with a focus on what you want more of, not what’s “wrong” with you.
What we explore together
Each person comes with their own goals and experience, so there’s no fixed programme. That said, this work often touches on themes like:

How coaching works
A collaborative space, honest reflection, practical experiments.
Coaching with me is a partnership. You bring your experience, questions and ambitions; I bring curiosity, presence and challenge in service of what you want.
A typical journey looks like:
· An initial conversation (around 30 minutes)
We explore what’s happening in your world, what you’d like to be different and what you’ve already tried. I’ll share how I work, and we’ll decide together whether it makes sense to continue.
· A focused initial block
Many clients begin with a block of sessions (for example, 6 x 75-minute sessions over 3–4 months). This gives enough space to move beyond quick fixes and surface-level insights. The very first session typically explores values, strengths and goals in depth as a foundation for what follows.
· Sessions shaped around you
Each session starts with what feels most alive or important for you. Working with real situations, we might use simple frameworks, bring attention to body and breath, or explore the beliefs and stories in the background. Together we’ll clarify what you want from each session and consciously calibrate the levels of support and challenge that serve you.
· Your growth between sessions
You’ll choose small, specific actions to take into real situations – having a conversation you’ve been postponing, a different way of preparing for a meeting, changing how you structure part of your week. We then reflect on what you noticed and what you learned.
The aim is not to give you more to live up to, but to create conditions where your own clarity and capability can come through more consistently.
Pricing:
As a guide, a 6-session block (75 minutes each) typically starts from £1,200. We’ll talk about what makes sense for you and your context on the initial call.

Why work with me
I’m Ben Slight. I’ve led commercial and publishing teams, worked alongside some of the pioneers of modern coaching and spent years helping leaders explore how they show up in the moments that matter most to them.
I’m also a Black Belt Practitioner of Jeet Kune Do, a martial art built on simplicity, self-expression and pressure-testing. That spirit runs through my coaching: light on theorising, strong on what actually shows up in you and in your world.
